World title rematch with stipulation set for next AEW Dynamite

A rematch from All In is set for next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite as AEW World Champion Hangman Page will defend against Jon Moxley but with a new stipulation: everyone is banned from ringside.

The match was made at the close of Wednesday’s show after Mark Briscoe’s win over Claudio Castagnoli in the night’s main event. Moxley, Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta joined Castagnoli in attacking Briscoe when Page, who earlier defeated and bloodied up Yuta, came out.

Page and Moxley then came face-to-face and Page said he will prove it to Moxley that he can be the person he doesn’t think he is. He then offered up the title opportunity and said since Moxley is the challenger, he will play by Page’s rules, hence everyone is banned from ringside.

Page defeated Moxley for the title at All In, ending his lengthy title run in a violent Texas Death Match that saw oodles of outside interference from Darby Allin, the Death Riders, Will Ospreay, the Young Bucks, and Swerve Strickland among others.

The bout is the first announced for next week’s show from Chicago. Briscoe vs. MJF appears to be likely based on an earlier promo Wednesday.
