World title eliminator set for AEW Dynamite

An eliminator match for the AEW World title is set for the next Dynamite.

Swerve Strickland will face Brian Cage in a singles match following the events of Saturday’s Collision. As Cage explained why The Mogul Embassay turned on Swerve, they were attacked by the AEW World Champion. Cage managed to escape as Swerve single-handedly took out both Toa Liona and Kaun.

Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson will team together, taking on Kyle Fletcher and NJPW’s Jeff Cobb. Tony Schiavone framed the match as Don Callis looking for revenge after Moxley defeated and injured Powerhouse Hobbs in their IWGP World title match.

Members of The Elite will also be in action. Kazuchika Okada will face Dax Harwood after FTR, Eddie Kingston, and Danielson confronted The Elite at the end of Wednesday’s Dynamite. After Okada issued the challenge and walked away, Christopher Daniels angrily confronted Matt Jackson over The Elite’s recent actions. The Young Bucks will now face Daniels and Matt Sydal in a tag match on Dynamite.

Other segments will include Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone’s contract signing for Double or Nothing, and Hook will return after his FTW Championship loss at Dynasty to Chris Jericho.

During Rampage, it was announced that Toni Storm will face Harley Cameron. Will Ospreay will meet Roderick Strong face-to-face, and Adam Copeland will call out Malakai Black after challenging him to a barbed wire steel cage match at Double or Nothing.
