AEW Tag Team title eliminator match taking place next week

The next contenders to the AEW Tag Team titles will be determined on AEW TV next week.
During Saturday’s AEW Collision, The Outrunners were cutting a backstage promo when they saw reigning titleholders The Hurt Syndicate walk in. They stopped the champions and MVP and said they heard if the Murder Machines beat a real team, they get a title shot.
MVP then said he had good news and bad news. The good: if they beat the Machines, the shot is theirs. The bad: they have to face the Hurt Syndicate.
It was later said the match would take place “next week” but didn’t indicate if it was on this Wednesday’s Dynamite from Oceanside, California, or this Saturday’s Collision from Oakland, California.
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin just wrapped up their first month as champions and successfully defended their titles against The Gunns earlier this month.
Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum have had one previous shot at the titles in a four-way against then-champions Private Party at last November’s Full Gear. If Brian Cage and Lance Archer pick up the win, it will be their first shot at the titles as a team.
