AEW star Swerve Strickland to perform at Rolling Loud music festival

AEW star Swerve Strickland is set to perform at one of music’s biggest festivals.
After hyping that he had a major announcement to make, Strickland revealed last night that he’ll be performing at the Rolling Loud music festival in California this weekend. Rolling Loud is the top hip-hop music festival in the world. Strickland will be performing on Sunday (March 17) with Flash Garments as part of DJ Five Venoms’ appearance at the festival.
Rolling Loud previously partnered with WWE in 2021 with matches from Rolling Loud Miami airing during an episode of SmackDown.
Music is something that Strickland has pursued for years in addition to wrestling. As Swerve The Realest, Strickland and Flash Garments put together the “Big Pressure” theme song that Strickland uses in AEW.
Strickland is currently chasing Samoa Joe’s AEW World Championship. Strickland challenged for the title in a three-way match at Revolution earlier this month. The match ended with Hangman Page tapping out so that Strickland could not become champion.
Joe choked out Strickland on the Revolution fallout edition of Dynamite. Strickland then tried to confront Joe at Dynamite Big Business this week. Joe walked away instead of getting into the confrontation.
Joe retained the AEW World Championship against Wardlow at Big Business.
Following the announcement that he’ll be performing at Rolling Loud, Strickland teased that he has “more in the pipeline.”
