AEW reveals date & location for Revolution 2024

The date & location for AEW Revolution has been announced.

During Wednesday’s Dynamite, Tony Schiavone revealed that Revolution will take place on March 3 at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina. Sting previously announced that his final match will take place at Revolution.

Schiavone brought up that the Greensboro Coliseum was the venue in 1988 where Ric Flair defended the NWA World Championship against Sting in a 45 minute draw back at the first Clash of the Champions. Sting and Ric Flair came in for promos, with Sting thanking Flair for putting him on the map and agreeing that the Greensboro Coliseum was a fitting place for his final match.

Flair said that he didn’t make Sting, Sting made himself and the biggest moment in his life is going to take place in Greensboro. He told Sting that he’d be honored to be at his side.

Sting announced his retirement back on the October 18 edition of Dynamite. At Full Gear, he teamed with Adam Copeland & Darby Allin to successfully defeat Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Luchasaurus.
