AEW reveals bracket for AEW World Trios Tag Team title tournament
The bracket for AEW’s upcoming Trios Tag Team tournament has been revealed.
The tournament will begin next week, with Andrade El Idolo, Dragon Lee, and Rush set to take on The Young Bucks and a mystery partner on Dynamite. Later on Dynamite, Hangman Page rejected an offer by The Young Bucks to be their mystery partner, saying he had agreed to be in the corner of The Dark Order.
Will Ospreay and Aussie Open from New Japan Pro Wrestling will also take part in the tournament, facing Death Triangle in the opening round.
The first round bracket includes:
- Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El 0M, and Rey Fenix) vs. Will Ospreay & Aussie Open
- Andrade El Idolo, Dragon Lee, and Rush vs. The Young Bucks and a mystery partner
- House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) vs. Dark Order
- Trustbusters (Ari Daivari, Slim J, and Parker Boudreaux) vs. Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta, and Chuck Taylor)
The finals to crown the first champions will take place at AEW All Out on September 4.
