Katsuyori Shibata & Private Party defeated The Young Bucks & Jack Perry (15:00)
Shibata and Perry started things out. Nothing like loading up a show with star power after it’s been canceled. Shibata got Perry down on the mat and went for a juji gatame, but Perry quickly got to the ropes. Nick Jackson blindsided Shibata and both he and Perry took advantage. Marq Quen got a tag and took Nick down with a step-up rana, then both members of Private Party double-teamed both of the Young Bucks. Shibata ran in and booted Perry to the floor, and Private Party hit stereo planchas on the Bucks on the floor. Soon all six guys were fighting on the floor. Perry whipped Shibata into the ring barricade.
Back in the ring, Nick hit one member of Private Party with a senton while Perry dropped the other with a hanging DDT on the floor.
After the split-screen break, Zay took both the Bucks down with a hiptoss, backdropped Perry to the floor, and avoided a dive from Matt Jackson. He dove for the tag to Shibata, but Perry pulled Shibata to the floor. The Bucks hit Zay with an assisted Sliced Bread and a sliding knee for a near fall. Perry set Zay up for a powerbomb in the corner, but Zay countered with a rana (that sent Perry into a double kick from The Bucks). Zay finally got the tag to Quen, who caught Matt with a powerslam and took both Bucks down with a rana. The Bucks dropped to the floor, and Quen followed them out with a springboard dive. Back in the ring, Quen hit a springboard crossbody on Matt for a near fall.
Quen went to the top, but Perry crotched him. Matt sent Quen crashing down with a top rope Falcon Arrow for a near fall. Shibata got the tag to square off with Perry. Perry hit Shibata with a dropkcik but Shibata came back with forearms. Private Party and Shibata triple teamed Perry, and Shibata got a near fall after a boot. Shibata hit the PK kick for a near fall, but Matthew Jackson broke the pin attempt up.
Shibata worked over Perry in the corner with forearms. The Bucks caught Shibata and Zay with a pair of superkicks, and Perry joined them to give Quen a tripe superkick. The Bucks got a near fall on Quen with a slingshot sitdown powerbomb. Perry set Quen up for something, but Zay used his partner as a springboard for a Canadian Destroyer. Private Party hit the Gin and Juice on Perry for a near fall.
Matt blocked the Silly String with a Northern Lights suplex. The Bucks wiped out Zay with the EVP Trigger. They set up Quen for the Meltzer Driver, but Zay tripped up Nick and Quen rolled up Zay to get the pinfall! I didn’t see that one coming. Fun party match.
Top Flight v. House of Black v. Private Party for the title shot at WrestleDream will happen on Collision tomorrow night.
– Renee Paquette interviewed Kris Statlander, who called herself a “born again Kristin.” She started to put herself over, but was interrupted by Kamille, who shoulder-checked her on the way to her match.
Kamille (w/ Mercedes Mone) defeated Zoey Lynn (0:16)
Kamille hit a spear as soon as the bell rang, then hit an inverted neckbreaker/Cross Rhodes to get the win.
– Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie cut a weird promo about their partnership.
Queen Aminata defeated Harley Cameron (6:57)
Aminata worked the arm early on, but Cameron countered with a pop up enziguri. Aminata hit a sliding knee, then a sliding kick in the corner.
After a long commercial break, Cameron hit a sliding knee on Aminata for a near fall. Cameron sent Aminata to the floor with an axe kick. Back in the ring, Aminata hit a snap suplex and a lariat for a near fall. Cameron avoided a second sliding kick in the corner. Cameron countered an air raid crash with a cradle, but Aminata came back with a tilt-a-whirl neckbreaker, then hit the Queen’s Crown (a headbutt) for the pinfall.
After the match, Serena Deeb jumped Aminata from behind, but Britt Baker (in a “Brittsburgh” football jersey) ran in with a chair to save Aminata.
– Rene Paquette interviewed the Acclaimed, who threw out threats to the MXM Collection.
Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly defeated Big Bill & Bryan Keith (w/ Chris Jericho) (12:24)
Jericho joined the commentary team.
Lots of stalling and psychology back and forth between Bill and Cassidy. O’Reilly got in on the act, and they both avoided contact, frustrating Bill. “Too Much Man” is on Bill’s tights, and I hope that is sticking as a secondary nickname for Bill.
Keith tagged in to square off with O’Reilly. The match started to break down, with O’Reilly chasing Keith around the ring. Bill and Keith were stacked up against the ring barricade, and both O’Reilly and Cassidy mauled them with kicks going into the break.
After the break, O’Reilly went for an ankle lock, but Keith escaped and got a german suplex on O’Reilly. Bill got the tag and squashed both Cassidy and O’Reilly with avalanches. Bill hit a spinning Boss Man Slam on Cassidy. Keith hit a knee strike on Cassidy for a near fall. Keith went for the Diamond Dust in the corner, but Cassidy escaped. Cassidy went for a spinning DDT on Bill, but needed help from O’Reilly to finish the move. Cassidy hit a spinning DDT on Keith to get a near fall.
Keith hit Cassidy with an avalanche exploder, then exchanged forearms with O’Reilly. O’Reilly got the ankle lock again, and this brought Jericho to ringside to distract referee Aubrey Edwards. Rocky Romero ran in and sent Jericho into the steps, and Big Bill cut down Romero with a big boot. Cassidy hit Bill with a tope suicida. Back in the ring O’Reilly and Cassidy hit Keith with a high/lo combination leg sweep and Orange punch, and O’Reilly got the pinfall.
