AEW Rampage viewership up slightly, demo rating down in return to normal time slot

Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage averaged 473,000 viewers on TNT, up 0.4 percent from the previous week when the show aired three hours earlier than usual due to NBA All-Star Weekend. This is the third-lowest audience for Rampage in its regular time slot since debuting last August.

Rampage finished 46th on the cable charts with a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 10 percent from the previous week. Cable news coverage of the war in Ukraine dominated the charts, resulting in the lowest-ever finish for Rampage. It tied Rampage’s second-lowest rating in the demo, beating only the October 8 episode that drew a 0.17.

Numbers were down across every age group with the exception of people over 50, which were up 18.8 percent from the previous week. That demo is the only reason why the overall viewership number was up from last week. The biggest drop was with females 12-34, which were down 40 percent. Rampage drew a 0.03 in that age group, the lowest rating in the show’s history for that demo.

Rampage also did a record low in the 18-34 age group with a 0.06 rating, down 33.3 percent from the previous week.

As compared to the 10-week average, as shown in the chart below, this week’s Rampage was down 12.1 percent in overall viewers and down 18.2 percent in 18-49.
