AEW Rampage viewership up, demo rating down in return to normal time slot

Friday night’s AEW Rampage averaged 518,000 viewers on TNT, up 7.5 percent from the previous week’s episode, which aired three hours earlier than usual due to the NBA playoffs. It’s the second-best audience for Rampage since March 11.
Rampage finished 14th on the cable charts with a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 13.6 percent from the previous week. That’s the show’s third-highest rating in 18-49 since March 11.
Ratings were down across every demo with the exception of people over 50, which were up 40 percent from the previous week. That’s the entire reason for the overall viewership increase. The biggest decline was in the 18-34 age group, which had a 37.5 percent drop.
The NBA playoff game that aired head-to-head with Rampage on ESPN averaged 3.17 million viewers and drew a 1.16 rating in 18-49.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Rampage. This week’s show was up 5.6 percent in viewers and even in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages in both categories.
