AEW Rampage viewership down, demo rating steady

AEW Rampage on Friday night averaged 526,000 viewers on TNT, down 3.5 percent from the previous week. It’s the show’s third-lowest audience of the year so far.

In the 18-49 demo, Rampage finished 23rd on cable with a 0.22 rating. That’s the same number as the show drew the previous week in 18-49, matching Rampage’s fourth-highest number of 2022.

College basketball coverage dominated the cable charts, and cable news was also up from usual because of the war in Ukraine. So, even though the 18-49 number was relatively good, Rampage’s placing on the charts was lower than usual.

Ratings were down in every category with the exception of females 12-34, which were up 16.7 percent. It’s the second straight AEW show to have a big increase in that demo, so that may be something to keep an eye on. The biggest drop was with males in that age group, which were down 14.3 percent.

Here’s a look at the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and demo ratings for Rampage, along with the 10-week averages in all categories. This week’s show was down 2.8 percent in overall viewers but up 4.8 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
