AEW Rampage ratings up in later time slot

With the show airing at 7 p.m. Eastern time, Friday night’s AEW Rampage averaged 410,000 viewers on TNT, up 20.6 percent from the previous week’s episode that began 90 minutes earlier in the day. It’s the best audience for the show since April 29, when Rampage last aired in its regular 10 p.m. Eastern time slot.

Rampage drew a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 25 percent from the previous week. That’s Rampage’s best rating in 18-49 since April 22 and placed the show 13th for the day on the cable charts.

The show was up from the previous week in most categories with the exception of younger women. Females 12-34 were down 16.7 percent, while women 18-49 were down 12.5 percent.

The biggest increase was with men 18-49, which were up 37.5 percent.

The last time Rampage aired at 7 p.m. Eastern was on February 18, and the show averaged 471,000 viewers and drew a 0.20 rating that week. So this week was down 13 percent in viewers and down 25 percent in 18-49 from that airing. That episode finished 11th on the cable charts, but it was against much weaker competition.
