AEW Rampage ratings down in earlier time slot

Friday night’s live episode of Rampage, which aired in an earlier time slot than usual, averaged 482,000 viewers on TNT, down 19.7 percent from the previous week.

The show aired at 7 p.m. Eastern time (three hours earlier than its normal time) due to TNT coverage of the NBA playoff play-in tournament. The episode was headlined by Hangman Page retaining the AEW World Championship against Adam Cole in a Texas Death Match.

The last time Rampage was moved to the 7 p.m. time slot on February 18, the show averaged 471,000 viewers. This week’s episode was up 2.3 percent from then.

Rampage drew a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 12 percent from the previous week. It was up 10 percent from the 18-49 rating on February 18 in the same time slot.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Rampage, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. As compared to the 10-week averages, this week’s Rampage was down 3.3 percent in viewers but up 15.8 percent in 18-49, so the earlier time slot seemed to help with younger viewers.
