AEW Rampage ratings down against Winter Olympics

Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage averaged 540,000 viewers on TNT, down 10.2 percent from the previous week. It’s the second-lowest audience for the show so far in 2022.

In the 18-49 demo, Rampage finished seventh on cable with a 0.20 rating, down 20 percent from the January 28 edition of the show. That matches Rampage’s lowest rating in the demo since December 31.

Rampage was up against the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, which would explain the drops.

The biggest drop, by far, was with women in the 35-49 age group. Women 18-49 were down 41.2 percent from the previous week (to a 0.10 rating). That matches the lowest number in that category in the history of Rampage. But females 12-34 were up 25 percent, so the losses in that category were obviously in 35-49.

Listed below are the last 10 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for Rampage. This week’s show was down 1.2 percent in overall viewers and down 9.1 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
