AEW Rampage draws record-low ratings due to afternoon time slot change

Friday’s AEW Rampage, which aired in the afternoon due to a scheduling conflict with the NBA playoffs, averaged 292,000 viewers on TNT. That’s down 43.6 percent from the previous week and is the lowest audience in the show’s history.
The episode aired at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time and 2:30 p.m. Pacific, so this number is a complete aberration.
In the 18-49 demo, Rampage finished 49th on the cable charts with a 0.11 rating, down 42.1 percent from the previous week. It’s also the lowest 18-49 demo rating in show history.
Rampage was down from last week in every age group, with the biggest drops coming with women. Females 12-34 were down 62.5 percent, while women 18-49 were down 54.6 percent. The demo that held up best was males 12-34, which were down 33.3 percent.
As compared to the 10-week averages in both categories, Rampage was down 40.2 percent in viewers and down 38.9 percent in 18-49. The chart below shows the last 11 weeks of Rampage ratings and illustrates just how much the time slot change affected this week’s numbers.
