AEW Rampage & Dark spoilers: Former ROH & Impact Tag Team Champions debut

The following are spoilers for Friday’s edition of AEW Rampage and Tuesday’s AEW Dark, taped Thursday at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Canada.

AEW Rampage (Friday)

  • AEW World Champion Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli defeated The Butcher & The Blade
  • Renee Paquette interviewed Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland backstage. Strickland was talking about his win over Billy Gunn Wednesday until Lee called him out for cheating.
  • During a backstage segment, Dark Order were arguing with Jose The Assistant and then put their hands in for a show of unity. An extra hand came in late and was revealed to be the returning Stu Grayson.
  • Jericho Appreciation Society did an in-ring promo where Daniel Garcia said he’ll never be a pro wrestler and that Chris Jericho taught him how to win…by cheating. Jericho said he will beat every past ROH Champion which brought out Dalton Castle. The two will go head-to-head next week, but it wasn’t specified if it would be on Dynamite or Rampage.
  • Nyla Rose defeated Anna Jay-AS. Jade Cargill came out after the match, but was unsuccessful in regaining her stolen TBS title from Rose.
  • Ethan Page defeated Isiah Kassidy so Matt Hardy must join Stokely Hathaway’s Firm.
  • FTR & Shawn Spears defeated The Embassy (Brian Cage & Gates of Agony). After the match, The Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) and Maria Kanellis came out to attack FTR and Spears. All the heels joined in until Samoa Joe & Wardlow ran out for the save.

AEW Dark (Tuesday):

  • Zack Clayton defeated Shane Saber
  • Hikaru Shida defeated Vanessa Kraven
  • Danhausen defeated James Stone
  • Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, 10 & John Silver) defeated Zack Patterson, Tyler Tirva, Shayne Hawke & JT Producer
  • Eddie Kingston & Ortiz defeated Mo Jabari & Jake O’Reilly
  • AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy & Best Friends defeated Jessie V, Steven Mainz & Kobe Durst
  • Willow Nightingale defeated Seleziya Sparx
  • Dante Martin defeated QT Marshall
  • Ari Daivari defeated Brandon Cutler
  • Athena defeated Alexia Nicole
  • Lance Archer defeated Iseah Bronson
  • Aaron Solo defeated Serpentico
