AEW Fyter Fest night two live results: Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy

Fyter Fest continues tonight on TNT.

Orange Cassidy vs. Chris Jericho will headline night two of the event. Their feud was set in motion when Jericho and The Inner Circle beat Cassidy down with a bag of blood oranges. Cassidy got a measure of revenge a week later when he cost Jericho and Sammy Guevara a shot at the AEW Tag Team titles. The two had a strong brawl two weeks ago on Dynamite and a pull-apart on night one of Fyter Fest last week.

Kenny Omega and Hangman Page will defend their AEW World Tag Team Championships against Private Party. Omega and Page successfully defended their titles last week against Best Friends, while Private Party defeated Santana and Ortiz a week ago to earn the title shot.

The Young Bucks will be in action this evening, teaming with FTR. They will take on The Butcher, The Blade, Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix in an eight-man tag.

Colt Cabana will team with Mr. Brodie Lee and Stu Grayson against the SCU trio of Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky.

A major announcement from Taz and Brian Cage has been advertised for the show as well. Cage was originally scheduled to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship tonight, but that match has been pushed to next week’s Fight for the Fallen.

Lance Archer vs. Joey Janela and Nyla Rose in action have also been advertised for tonight’s show.

Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Tony Schiavone went to the ring and introduced Taz and Brian Cage.

Taz brought a black bag to the ring. He said what was in the bag was something he created years ago with his blood, sweat and tears, the FTW World Championship.

Mr. Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana & Stu Grayson defeated Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels

This was a good match and the story of Cabana slowly embracing Dark Order is growing on me.

Grayson and Daniels started out. Grayson got some offense before Daniels cut him off. Kazarian tagged in and hit a release German suplex for a two count.

Cabana and Sky tagged in. Cabana sold his ribs as Sky grabbed him. Lee began yelling at Cabana from the apron as if he was angry that Cabana was showing weakness.

Dark Order provided a distraction from the stage. Lee jumped in and cut Sky off. Lee, Grayson and Cabana took turns working Sky over through a commercial break.

After the break, Lee slammed Sky. Grayson hit a splash off the top for a two count. Sky came back with a kick to Cabana’s ribs and a neckbreaker.
