AEW files for two trademarks hinting at Christmas programming

AEW has filed for two new trademarks with both hinting at upcoming Christmas-themed programming.

The promotion applied to trademark the terms “Dynamite on 34th Street” and “Christmas Collision” on November 18. Both filings are listed as relating to the following goods and services:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.

The trademark applications are similar to the one AEW made for “Fright Night Dynamite” last month, which ended up being for a themed episode of Dynamite that took place on the day before Halloween.

Christmas falls on a Wednesday this year, though whether Dynamite will be airing an episode that night has not been confirmed. AEW does not currently have any Dynamite or Collision locations announced past December 18, but Collision will reportedly air live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on December 21.

AEW will be building up its Worlds End pay-per-view during the holiday season with that event set to take place on Saturday, December 28.
