AEW, ESPN announce broadcast deal for Australia, New Zealand & Pacific Islands

AEW and ESPN announced a partnership Thursday that will see Dynamite, Rampage and pay-per-views made available to ESPN subscribers in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Starting on Thursday, February 16th, AEW Dynamite will air on Thursdays Australian Eastern Daylight Time and AEW Rampage on Saturdays Australian Eastern Daylight Time with episodes available via same-day replays and on-demand as well.

Via ESPN, fans will be able to purchase AEW PPVs like Revolution, Double or Nothing, All Out and Full Gear.

Both ESPN & ESPN2 are available via Foxtel, Kayo Sports, Fetch TV and SKY NZ. Foxtel is the broadcast entity that also has an extensive partnership with WWE.

The list of regions are Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, Niue, Nauru, Vanuatu, Kiribati, Northern Marianas, Tokelau, Tahiti, Tuvalu, New Caledonia, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, and Wallis and Futuna.

As noted in a press release, this is AEW’s first broadcast deal in the region and ESPN’s first partnership with a pro wrestling organization in the region.
