AEW Dynamite draws 1.1 million viewers for Beach Break

Wednesday’s Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 1.1 million viewers on TBS, up 6.6 percent from last week. It’s the best audience Dynamite has drawn since September 29 of last year.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished second on cable with a 0.41 rating. That’s down 6.8 percent from last week, so the audience for the show skewed much older for this episode. It was actually the second-lowest demo number that Dynamite has drawn so far on TBS.

Viewership was down in several age groups, but the show had a big increase in people over 50, which is the reason for the overall number being up. The biggest drops were with women, as females 18-49 dropped 28.1 percent and females 12-34 were down 16.7 percent.

As compared with the same week in 2021 when the show still had NXT as head-to-head competition, Dynamite was up 49.9 percent in overall viewership and up 41.4 percent in 18-49.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and detailed demo ratings for Dynamite. This week’s show was up 15 percent in overall viewership and up 13.9 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
