AEW Dynamite viewership up, 18-49 rating down for Holiday Bash

Wednesday night’s Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 957,000 viewers on TBS, up 0.7 percent from last week. It’s the highest audience total for the show since October 26.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished third on the cable charts with a 0.30 rating. That’s down 9.1 percent from last week but is still Dynamite’s second-highest rating in that category since November 23. The show went head-to-head with the second half of a college basketball game on ESPN for the first hour and the beginning of an NCAA bowl game in the second. Those games took the top two spots on cable.

There was a double-digit decline with men 18-49, which were down 13 percent from last week. This was offset by a 15.4 percent increase with females 12-34. The show also had a 4.9 percent gain with people over 50, which was the main reason for the overall viewership increase.

As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was down 6.2 percent in overall viewers and down 18.9 percent in 18-49.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite, as well as the 10-week averages in all categories. This week’s show was up 7.5 percent overall but even in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
