AEW Dynamite viewership drops, demo rating down slightly

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite averaged 833,000 viewers on TBS, down 9.6 percent from last week. It’s the lowest viewership number for the show in its regular time slot since May 19, 2021.

Dynamite drew a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demo, down three percent from last week. It’s the show’s second-lowest rating of the year in that category.

Dynamite finished fourth on the cable charts in 18-49, trailing only two NBA playoff games on TNT as well as the TNT post-game show. The game that aired opposite Dynamite averaged 3.4 million viewers and drew a 1.15 rating in 18-49.

The show was actually up or even in almost every category with the exception of people over 50. Dynamite had an increase of 26.3 percent in 18-34, but a decline of 13.2 percent with people over 50 led to the drop in overall viewership.

As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was down 23.6 percent in overall viewers and down 23.8 percent in the 18-49 demo.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite. This week’s show was down 14.6 percent in viewers and down 15.8 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
