AEW Dynamite viewership & 18-49 rating increase from previous week

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite averaged 629,000 viewers on TBS, up 20.7% from the previous week and the highest audience for the show since April 9th.
Dynamite averaged a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 14.3% from last week, but also ties the second lowest rating the show has done in that category since March 5th. The show finished fifth on the primetime cable charts on the night.
There was heavier than usual sports competition Wednesday with NHL playoff games on both ESPN and ESPN 2 running head-to-head with Dynamite as well as an NBA playoff game on TNT that topped all television with a 1.02 18-49 rating and 3.162 million viewers.
As compared to the same week in 2024, overall Dynamite viewership was down 10.5% while the 18-49 rating was down 33.3%. The audience decline is much lower than normal and that’s without including Max viewers with this year’s numbers.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for AEW Dynamite on TBS as well as the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was up 3% in overall viewers but was even in 18-49 as compared to recent averages.
