AEW Dynamite tops one million viewers for first time since October

Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite averaged 1,003,000 viewers on TBS, up 3.5 percent from last week. It’s the best audience total for the show since October 5.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished third on the cable charts (trailing only two NBA games on ESPN) with a 0.32 rating. That’s up 3.2 percent from last week and is Dynamite’s second-highest rating in the key demo since December 14.

Dynamite’s ratings were up from last week in most demos with the biggest increase coming with people aged 25-54, which were up 10.5 percent. The biggest drop was with females 12-34, which were down 6.3 percent.

As compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite’s overall audience was down 8.8 percent while its 18-49 demo rating was down 22 percent, so the show skewed older than at this point last year.

Power Slap: Road to the Title, which airs after Dynamite on TBS, averaged 413,000 viewers overall and drew a 0.13 rating in 18-49. Both numbers are up from last week’s premiere (295,000 viewers and a 0.10 in 18-49).

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite, as well as the 10-week averages in all categories. This week’s show was up 11.6 percent in overall viewers and up 6.7 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
