AEW Dynamite ratings up slightly, finishes fifth on cable


Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 840,000 viewers on TBS, up 0.8 percent from last week. It’s the second-lowest audience the show has drawn since moving to TBS at the start of 2022.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished fifth on the cable charts with a 0.33 rating, up 3.1 percent from last week. That ties the show’s third-lowest rating on TBS to date.
In addition to the usual NBA playoff competition of late, Dynamite also finished behind last night’s season premiere of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which had an identical 0.33 rating with slightly more viewers in the demo. The NBA games that went up against Dynamite averaged 4.8 million viewers and drew a 1.54 in 18-49.
The biggest increase for Dynamite over last week was with males 18-49, which were up 4.6 percent. Offsetting that was a 16.7 percent decline overall with viewers 18-34.
As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was down 10.3 percent in overall viewers but up 6.5 percent in the key demo.
