AEW Dynamite ratings up, back over one million viewers


Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 1,046,000 viewers on TBS, up 5.3 percent from last week. It’s the third-highest audience total for the show so far this year.
Dynamite drew a 0.41 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 7.9 percent from last week. That’s tied for the show’s third-best rating in that category since moving to TBS.
Dynamite finished third on the cable charts in the key demo, trailing only two NBA games on ESPN. The head-to-head game averaged 1.404 million viewers and drew a 0.49 in the 18-49 demo.
Ratings were up in every single demo category, with the biggest increase coming in the 18-34 age group. Dynamite drew a 0.30 rating in that demo, up 20 percent from last week. It’s the show’s best number in 18-34 since its TBS debut on January 5.
As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was up 38.2 percent in overall viewers and up 36.7 percent in 18-49. That is compared to when NXT was running head-to-head on Wednesday nights.
