AEW Dynamite ratings up for Grand Slam episode

Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite, the annual Grand Slam episode, averaged 702,000 viewers on TBS. That’s up 2.2 percent from last week and is the second-highest audience total for the show since August 14.
Dynamite drew a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 4.6 percent from last week. It ties the best rating the show has done in that category since August 21.
The show went head-to-head with a Connecticut Sun vs. Indiana Fever WNBA playoff game, featuring Caitlin Clark, that averaged 2.54 million viewers.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Dynamite’s overall viewership was down 17.9 percent while the 18-49 rating was down by the same percentage. Grand Slam aired a week earlier in 2023, so this was down 28.7 percent in overall viewers and down 36.1 percent in the 18-49 demo from last year’s special.
