AEW Dynamite ratings up for Forbidden Door go-home show

Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 902,000 viewers on TBS, up 8.4 percent from the previous week.

The viewership number is virtually identical to what Dynamite drew two weeks ago when the show went up against game three of the NBA Finals. It’s the second-lowest audience total for the show since May 24.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.33 rating, which is up 10 percent from last week. That tied the episode from two weeks ago for Dynamite’s best number in that category since February 22.

Where the show placed on the cable charts isn’t currently known.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that the episode peaked during the Mark Briscoe vs. Jeff Jarrett Concession Stand Brawl with 976,000 viewers and a 0.36 rating in 18-49.

As compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite was up 2.7 percent in total viewers and up 6.5 percent in 18-49. It’s the first time the show has had consecutive weeks of year-over-year growth in both categories since October 2022.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This week’s show was up 5.7 percent in overall audience and up 10 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
