AEW Dynamite ratings up for 250th episode, best viewership in three months

Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite averaged 795,000 viewers on TBS, up 15.1 percent from last week. It’s the best audience total for the show since April 10.

This was the 250th episode of Dynamite. It featured a nearly hour-long opening match with MJF defeating Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship.

In the 18-49 demo, the show finished seventh on the prime time cable charts with a 0.27 rating. That’s up 17.4 percent from last week and is the best rating Dynamite has done in that category since June 5.

Dynamite went head-to-head with coverage of the Republican National Convention on various channels as well as an Indiana Fever WNBA game on ESPN and the season premiere of Big Brother on CBS.

As compared to the same week in 2023, Dynamite’s overall audience was down 16.6 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 20.6 percent. It’s the 35th straight week that Dynamite has had a year-over-year decline in total viewers.
