AEW Dynamite ratings up, best viewership since September 2021

Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite averaged 1.175 million viewers on TBS, up 13.5 percent from last week. It’s the best viewership for the show since Sept 22 of last year, which was the first Grand Slam Dynamite.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.39 rating. That’s up 2.6 percent from last week and is Dynamite’s highest rating in that category since June 1.

Dynamite’s ratings were even or up in every single demo. The biggest increase was with females 12-34, which were up 38.5 percent to a 0.18 rating. The show also did a 0.5 rating with people over 50, which tied the highest rating Dynamite has ever done in that category, including the premiere episode in October 2019.

Dynamite also drew a 0.31 rating with males 12-34, which is the show’s second-highest rating in that demo since September 8, 2021.

As compared with the same week in 2021, Dynamite had virtually the same overall audience (1.173 million viewers last year) but was down 11.4 percent in 18-49.

This is the first time since July 6 that Dynamite hasn’t had a year-over-year decline in total viewership, but it’s the eighth straight week the show has declined in 18-49 from last year.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite. This week’s show was up 20.2 percent in overall viewership and up 14.7 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
