AEW Dynamite ratings up, back over 900k viewers

Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 901,000 viewers on TBS, up 48 percent from last week. Last week’s Dynamite was moved to Tuesday due to MLB playoff coverage on TBS.

The viewership is up 12.6 percent from two weeks ago when Dynamite last aired in its regular time slot. This is the show’s second-largest audience total since July 19.

Dynamite drew a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 19.2 percent from last week and up 10.7 percent from two weeks ago. This matches the highest rating Dynamite has done in the demo since August 19.

On the cable sports charts, Dynamite only trailed an MLB American League Championship Series game on FS1 and the pre-game show on the same network.

As compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite’s overall audience was up 19.8 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 19.2 percent. A key note is that Dynamite was moved to Tuesday during this week last year and went against much stronger competition. It was head-to-head with NXT, the MLB playoffs, and NBA opening night. Still, this is the highest year-over-year increase Dynamite has done in exactly one year.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This week’s show was up 5.8 percent in overall viewers and up 3.3 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
