AEW Dynamite ratings down, still tops cable charts


Wednesday’s Fyter Fest night one edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 942,000 viewers on TBS, down 3.8 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest audience total for the show since June 22.
Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 11.1 percent from last week. That ties Dynamite’s fourth-lowest mark of the year to date but was nearly 25 percent ahead of the second-place show on cable last night.
Dynamite was down from last week in every single demo category with the exception of people over 50. The show was up 5.3 percent in that category or the overall drop would’ve been bigger.
The biggest drop came in the 18-34 age group, where Dynamite was down 32.1 percent to a 0.19 rating. That tied Dynamite’s second-lowest rating of the year in that demo.
As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was down 8.1 percent in total viewers and down 20 percent in 18-49.
