AEW Dynamite ratings down for Grand Slam, stays above one million viewers

Wednesday’s Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 1.039 million viewers on TBS, down 11.6 percent from last week. It’s still the third-highest viewership total for the show since March 23. 

This is the fifth straight week that Dynamite has been above one million viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.35 rating, down 10.3 percent from last week. That matches the lowest rating Dynamite has done in that category since August 24. 

Dynamite was down from last week across most demos but did have an increase with younger females. The show was up 16.7 percent with females 12-34 and up 8.7 percent with women 18-49. The biggest decline was with males 12-34, which were down 19.4 percent.

As compared to the 2021 edition of Grand Slam, Dynamite was down 18.4 percent in overall viewers and down 27.1 percent in 18-49. It’s the 11th straight week the show has had a year-over-year decline in the key demo. 

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week averages in all categories. This week’s show was up 4.2 percent in overall viewers and up 2.9 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
