The lights went out and Sting and Darby made their entrance. When Darby’s music played, he attacked 2.0 from behind with his skateboard.
Texas Tornado Tag: Sting & Darby Allin defeated 2.0 (Matt Lee & Jeff Parker) (w/ Daniel Garcia)
They immediately brawled out into the crowd. Garcia assisted 2.0, effectively making it a three on two match. 2.0 hit their finisher, 2 for the Show, on Darby into a concrete overhang out on the concourse. They dragged Sting back towards the ring, but Allin balanced on a railing and dove on 2.0 and Garcia.
Kingston appeared and took out Garcia to even the odds. Darby and Sting produced a table but 2.0 stopped them from setting it up in the ring. They suplexed Darby onto his own skateboard on the ramp. Sting fought off both of 2.0 in the ring and went for ten punches in the corner, but Parker cut him off. They turned it into a double powerbomb through a table, but Sting no-sold it and stood right back up.
Darby dropkicked them both into perfect Scorpion Death Drop position, and Sting hit it before locking them both on a simultaneous Scorpion Deathlock for the double submission.

The camera cut to a promo from Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard. Spears said he’d let Guevara’s now-fiancée be an honorary member of the Pinnacle for one night.
Sammy Guevara defeated Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard)
Spears attacked during Guevara’s entrance but Guevara was ready for him. He hit a really nice flip dive off the ramp to the ringside area. Guevara beat Spears down at ringside until he was sent into the ring steps, then Tully gave Spears the assist on the stuff piledriver.
The match finally started and Spears and Tully went for the piledriver again, but Tully was ejected. Spears continued to beat down Guevara and taunted his fiancée, but Guevara came back with an enziguiri. Spears avoided the double springboard moonsault and they traded chops into a commercial.
During the break, Spears set up one of the barricades between the ring and the security railing on the outside. They both sprung to the top rope, Spears flipped him off, and Guevara hit a top-rope cutter for a good near fall. Spears countered a top-rope hurricanrana into an avalanche C4 for another near fall.
Guevara escaped another C4 attempt on the apron and sent Spears through the propped-up barricade with a Death Valley driver to the floor. He then climbed the ropes and hit the 630 senton, but Spears shockingly kicked out.
In the center of the ring, Guevara pulled down his knee pad and hit repeated knees to the face. He then hit the GTH on Spears for the win.
– After the match, Guevara and his fiancée kissed.

He said AEW has a roster full of wanna-be tough guys who can’t wrestle. These fans are only here because it’s the only good part of their lives.
Lance Archer interrupted but was attacked from behind by Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page, the Men of the Year.

Chris Jericho was backstage. He’s overcome all this adversity because tonight he wins the prize. He may not be able to use the Judas Effect, but he’s got 5,000 fans in attendance who will sing him to the ring. Tonight, Jericho finally gets his revenge. “Jericho up, and My Jerk-off Friend down.”

AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) (w/ The Good Brothers & Brandon Cutler) defeated Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/ Marko Stunt)
This was fantastic.
Nick taunted Jungle Boy with some acrobatics early on until Jungle Boy took him out with a pescado. Jungle Boy hit his springboard armdrag and a lariat before tagging in Luchasaurus. Matt tagged in but was immediately taken down with a chop. Luchasaurus caught a crossbody and turned it into a powerslam for two.

Upon return, Jungle Boy hit his rebound lariat and reached Luchaasaurus for the hot tag. Nick fought out of the chokeslam and hit a gamenguiri, but Luchasaurus crotched him over the ropes. Jungle Boy hit a huge superplex off Luchasaurus’s shoulders for a near fall.
Brandon Cutler tried to interfere, but Luchasaurus had it scouted. Luchasaurus hit the Tail Whip, a cyclone kick, and a double chokeslam on both Bucks before an assisted cutter got a great near fall as Jungle Boy ran interference with a tope suicida.
The Young Bucks countered Jurassic Express’s finisher and hit a double superkick on Jungle Boy. They hit an Indytaker on Jungle Boy for a great near fall. Marko Stunt tried to fire up Jungle Boy, but Kenny Omega whacked him with a chair. Jungle Boy hit a brainbuster on the chair, but Nick broke up the pin at the last second. Jurassic Express hit Thorassic Express, their finisher, but Nick broke it up at the last second again. QT said here in AEW, we don’t get the fans excited just to let them down. Wight wasn’t having it. QT said there’s a reason Wight was hired as an announcer and not a wrestler. He put an X-ray on the screen along with photos of Wight’s big scar on his hip.

MJF defeated Chris Jericho
Jericho cannot use the Judas Effect. He took MJF down at the start and hit his signature springboard dropkick followed by a plancha to the floor. MJF sent Jericho into the barricade and grabbed the ringside camera, taunting Jericho. The camera panned to Jerihco, however, and Jericho punched it, planting MJF on his back.
In the ring, MJF attacked Jericho’s arm to regain control ahead of a commercial. Jericho came back with a clothesline upon return. Right hands and shoulder tackles took MJF off his feet before Jericho landed a double sledge off the top.

Once MJF kicked out, he immediately locked on the Salt of the Earth armbar. After a long fight, Jericho rolled through and applied the Walls.
