AEW Dynamite finishes first on cable for Revolution fallout episode

Wednesday night’s Revolution fallout edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 945,000 viewers on TBS, down 2.2 percent from last week. It’s the lowest audience for Dynamite since moving to TBS and the show’s lowest viewership overall since December 8 of last year.
However, Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 14.3 percent from last week and ties the show’s fifth-highest rating in that category since the move to TBS.
In second place for the night was an NBA game on ESPN with a 0.38 rating in 18-49. Tucker Carlson on Fox News was in third place with a 0.33 rating.
The biggest increases for Dynamite this week were with women. Women 18-49 were up 27.3 percent, while females 12-34 were up 38.5 percent. Dynamite’s 0.18 rating with females 12-34 is the second-highest number the show has done in that category since December 2020.
The reason for the overall decrease was a big drop with people over 50. The show drew a 0.33 rating in that category, which was a 15.4 percent drop from the previous week. It’s the lowest rating Dynamite has done with that age group in its regular time slot in almost a year.
As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was up 27.2 percent in overall viewers and up 25 percent in 18-49. NXT was still running head-to-head on Wednesdays at that time.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite. This week’s episode was down 5.6 percent in overall viewers but up 2.6 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
