AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen viewership up, 18-49 rating down

The New Year’s night episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 588,000 viewers on TBS, up 2.4% from the previous week. It’s the third highest audience for the show since November 20th.

Dynamite finished 6th on the primetime cable charts and ninth overall on television, with a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 11.1% from last week and is the lowest rating the show has done in that category since November 27th. This was the first episode of AEW Dynamite simulcast on the Max streaming service and these numbers do not include those viewers.

The show aired head to head with the ending of the Rose Bowl as well as the hour long post game show which topped all television with over 6.5 million viewers and a 1.78 rating in the 18-49 demo.

As compared to the first show of 2024, the overall viewership was down 26.6% while the 18-49 rating was down 38.5%.
