AEW Dynamite fifth anniversary episode to have ‘biggest overrun ever’

To celebrate the show’s fifth anniversary, AEW Dynamite will have an extended runtime on TBS tonight.

AEW owner Tony Khan announced this afternoon that Dynamite will have its “biggest overrun ever” tonight, with the show able to go 30 minutes or more past its usual two-hour runtime. Khan also continued to tease another announcement for today, which — as expected — ended up being AEW’s new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.

Dynamite debuted on this day in 2019 with its premiere episode taking place from Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Tonight’s show is being held at Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh. The lineup includes Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet title matches.
