AEW Dynamite draws best viewership of 2025

Wednesday night’s special Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 682,000 viewers on TBS, an 8.4 percent increase from last week. It’s the best audience total the show has done since September 18 of last year.
Dynamite drew a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 6.3 percent from last week and ties the highest rating the show has done in that category since March 19.
Dynamite finished third on cable, trailing only the Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks NBA playoff game on TNT that topped the charts (1.44 rating in 18-49 and 4.958 million viewers overall) and a Florida Panthers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs NHL playoff game on ESPN (0.32 rating and 1.094 million viewers).
As compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s overall audience was up 1.5 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 26.1 percent. It’s the first time since November 2023 that the show has had a year-over-year increase in total viewers. This year’s numbers do not include viewership on Max, which is likely the reason the 18-49 television rating is down.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was up 9.9 percent in viewers and 6.3 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
