AEW Dynamite back over one million viewers, 18-49 demo rating down

Wednesday night’s third-anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 1.038 million viewers on TBS, up 4.9 percent from last week. It’s Dynamite’s fourth-largest audience total for the show since March 23.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished second on the cable charts with a 0.33 rating. That’s down 2.9 percent from last week and is Dynamite’s lowest rating in that category since August 17.

Dynamite’s ratings were down from last week in most categories, but a 12.2 percent increase with people over 50 led to the overall audience increase. The biggest decline came with females 12-34, which were down 14.3 percent.

As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was down 1.4 percent in overall viewers and down 10.8% in 18-49. While it’s the 13th straight week of year-over-year declines for Dynamite in the key demo, these numbers held up better than most episodes of late.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite, as well as the 10-week averages in all categories. This week’s show was up 2.3 percent in overall viewers but down 2.9 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
