AEW dedicating Wednesday’s Dynamite in Rochester to Brodie Lee
Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite will be dedicated to Brodie Lee’s memory.
Tony Khan announced tonight that Dynamite, which will be held in Lee’s hometown of Rochester, New York, will be dedicated to him.
“It’s Wednesday. You know what that means,” Khan wrote on Twitter. “Tonight #AEWDynamite is Live from Rochester, home of Mr. Brodie Lee. Tonight we’ll have a great show dedicated to his memory with a special card including a huge TNT Championship match, a title forever synonymous with his indelible legacy.”
Brodie Lee, 41, passed away on December 26 of last year due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
The card for Wednesday’s Dynamite, which will be held at the Blue Cross Arena, includes:
- Miro vs. Sammy Guevara for the TNT title
- Jungle Boy vs. Adam Cole
- Cody Rhodes & Lee Johnson vs. Dante Martin & Matt Sydal
- Tay Conti & Anna Jay vs. The Bunny & Penelope Ford
