AEW Dark spoilers from Chicago: Jurassic Express, Big Swole

Matches for AEW Dark were taped prior to and after last night’s Rampage tapings in Hoffman Estates, Illinois:

• 2point0 defeated two local competitors. After the match, both 2point0 and Daniel Garcia beat up the local competitors.
• Wheeler Yuta defeated Baron Black with a modified cradle. The rest of the Best Friends did their hug after the match.
• Frankie Kazarian defeated a local competitor via submission
• Red Velvet defeated Skye Blue. The crowd very much got into Blue during the match and booed Velvet. After the match, Tony Khan came out and asked Blue if she would like to be in the women’s Casino Battle Royale at All Out on Sunday. She agreed.
• Shawn Spears and Wardlow defeated a local competitor and Brandon Gold
• Colt Cabana and Stu Grayson of the Dark Order defeated Rickey Shane Page and a local competitor
• Hikaru Shida defeated a local competitor
• Julia Hart defeated a local competitor
• John Silver and 10 of the Dark Order defeated Zachariah and a local competitor. 10 won the match via submission with a full nelson.
• Penelope Ford defeated a local competitor with the Muta lock
• Lance Archer defeated a local competitor with the blackout
• The Bunny defeated Lanie Luck
• Jade Cargill defeated a local competitor
• Joey Janela defeated Lee Moriarty. Janela was again accompanied by the unidentifed Kayla Rossi. Janela won with a death valley driver. After the match, Sonny Kiss came out and chased away Janela.
• Evil Uno defeated Alan ‘V’ Angels. Uno was playing the heel while Angels was the babyface. The crowd didn’t want them to feud. Members of the Dark Order that were seen earlier in the tapings came out and were questioning how aggressive Uno was.
• The Acclaimed defeated Shawn Dean and Robert Anthony in Max Caster’s first match back in weeks. He started to read a prepared rap, but tore up the paper and did his own which the crowd cheered for.
• Big Swole defeated Diamante in a three strikes match. The rules were two out of three falls match where the winner could win via pinfall, submission, or knockout. Swole won the deciding fall after knocking out Diamante with a chain.
• Jurassic Express defeated Chaos Project
• After the match, CM Punk came out once again and closed the tapings with Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt. He started to thank everyone and mentioned how people liked singing. He got the crowd to sing the theme song from The Golden Girls. He mentioned that last week in Milwaukee that he had told people that if they did not like the show to “shut the f*** up.” He said we don’t mind the criticism. He said he was no longer the voice of the voiceless because everyone here has a voice. He said what he meant by that statement is that if you had nothing interesting to add, we don’t need you. At the end of the day, “y’all all our bosses and if you like what you see, let us know.”
