AEW Dark results: The Blade & Private Party vs. Dante Martin, Matt Sydal & Lee Moriarty

The matches for this special Thursday episode of AEW Dark were taped before the January 21st Rampage from the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC.
Excalibur, Taz, and Mark Henry were on commentary.
Aaron Solo (w/ QT Marshall & Anthony Ogogo) defeated Sonny Kiss
Taz spent some time on commentary during the match talking about Marshall’s issues with Hook.
Kiss got the early advantage until Marshall grabbed his foot while he was coming off the ropes and Solo took advantage. Marshall also interfered in similar fashion a few times.
Sonny made a comeback and got a near fall off his leg drop/split move. He got another two count after a Cross Rhodes-esque move. Kiss then missed a moonsault and Solo hit a double underhook into a facebuster (similar to a Pedigree) for the win.
After the match, Excalibur spoke about the Factory’s Blake Li taking on Hook this Friday on Rampage.
Abadon defeated Gia Scott
Scott held her own early when they were exchanging strikes. After Abadon landed a head scissors and lariat, Scott battled back with a Samoan Drop. Abadon no sold it, sitting up zombie-style, and gave Scott a stunner and a DDT for the pin.
— Lee Johnson spoke about the “Who We Are” album to benefit the Bootsy Collins Foundation and his song “Fully Loaded.” Johnson also spoke about how his uncle who passed away was nicknamed “Shotgun” which is where “Big Shotty” comes from.
Powerhouse Hobbs (w/Ricky Starks) defeated Lee Johnson
Hobbs tried to attack before the bell, but Johnson saw him coming and countered. After the match spilled to the outside, Hobbs rammed Johnson head first into the post which Ricky Starks was really excited about.
That led to Hobbs going on offense, wearing Johnson down with power moves until Big Shotty made a comeback. He hit a few clotheslines, an enziguri and a vertical suplex on his bigger opponent. Hobbs then hit a spinebuster for a near fall. Shortly after, he picked his opponent up in the torture rack for the submission.
Dante Martin, Matt Sydal, & Lee Moriarty defeated AHFO (The Blade & Private Party)
This match was taped before Matt Hardy’s “erratic behavior” on Dynamite last night as while managing Isiah Kassidy, he left ringside and exited through the crowd.
On commentary, Taz spoke about Martin breaching their contract and how he is still quite upset with his lawyers about it.
The AHFO attacked before the bell and went on offense early. The babyfaces fought back, however, and at one point early on, they had three synchronized abdominal stretches on their opponents.
Eventually, the heels isolated Sydal and worked on him with quick tags in and out. Sydal later countered Gin and Juice and made a hot tag to Moriarty and the babyfaces went on offense for a bit.
All three of the AHFO spilled outside onto the entrance ramp and Martin dove on all three. He picked up Blade and sent him back into the ring, hit his Nosedive (double springboard moonsault), and got the pin for his team.
