Tony Schiavone and Cody welcomed us to the show and revealed half of the TNT Championship tournament bracket. The left side of the bracket has Cody vs. Shawn Spears and Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara.
**********
Sammy Guevara defeated Matt Sells
This was a bit more competitive than a standard squash.
Cody asked if Sells could be related to famous jobbers the Mulkeys as Guevara paintbrushed Sells.
Guevara teased a top rope move but jumped down and slapped Sells instead. Sells made a brief comeback, hitting a shining wizard.
Guevara cut Sells off with a rolling cutter. Guevara had Sells pinned but pulled him up at the count of two to deliver more punishment. Sells managed a neckbreaker and scored a two count, then began humping the mat. Guevara cut him off with a high knee.
Guevara then immediately hit his Burning GTS for the pin.

Guevara cut a promo after the match and declared himself the ruler of all wrestlers.
**********
Shawn Spears defeated Shawn Dean
Squash city for Dean.
Spears broke cleanly on the initial lock up. Spears repeatedly got the better of technical wrestling exchanges. Spears hit a lariat.
The finish saw Spears hit a running death valley driver for the pin.
**********
Darby Allin defeated Preston Vance
Vance doesn’t have much of a look, but he’s fundamentally sound. Allin sold most of the way here.
Vance attacked Allin as Allin posed on the turnbuckle before the match. Vance sent Allin outside and beat him around ringside. Allin got whipped into the ring frame and the barricade.
Back inside, Allin tried a springboard attack but Vance caught him and continued to work him over. Allin came back with a tope suicida and a code red.
Vance hit a pair of cutters to regain the advantage. Vance tried a deadlift vertical suplex but Allin rolled through and hit a backpack stunner.
Allin climbed up top and hit the Coffin Drop for the pin on Vance.
**********
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defeated Faboo Andre in a non-title match
Andre is known as the “Monarch of Manliness” and was announced as hailing from “The Butterfly Garden.” Great gear, great gimmick, great entrance music. Unfortunately, that is where the greatness ends for Faboo.
Moxley came out firing forearms from the opening bell. Andre escaped a vertical suplex and hit a hip toss.
Moxley blocked a strike, hit a lariat and a Gotch-style piledriver, then used an STF for the submission victory.
**********
Jake Hager ran in after the match and hit Moxley from behind. Hager then used his head-and-arm choke to put Moxley to sleep.

Schiavone and Cody closed the show teasing a Moxley promo and the reveal of the second half of the TNT title bracket for this week’s Dynamite.
