AEW Dark results: Evil Uno vs. Anthony Greene

It’s Tuesday and you know what that means: a modestly-sized episode of AEW Dark from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, with Excalibur and Taz.

Shawn Dean defeated Andrew Lockhart (2:11)

The Captain picked up his opponent out of the corner and gave him a back body drop from a standing position. A power bomb into a lung blower got Dean the win, running his singles record to 3-4 this year.

KiLynn King defeated Ashley D’Amboise (3:00)

Some highlights for King included a nice delayed vertical suplex, later rebounding from a nice swinging neckbreaker from D’Amboise with a boot to the midsection and a pump kick. She finished off D’Amboise with Kingdom Falls in a match that was longer than any first round WWE Queen’s Crown match.

Wardlow defeated Darian Bengston (2:04)

Bengston went for a step-up hurricanrana, but Wardlow countered into a power bomb attempt that Bengston rolled through into a sunset flip attempt. However, Wardlow just picked him up, bullied him into the corner and brutalized him anyway.  A pair of power bombs and a huge F-10 got Wardlow the win.

Evil Uno (w/ Colt Cabana) defeated Anthony Greene (6:25)

Greene got to look pretty impressive, hitting a series of progressively more intricate crossbodies for near falls. Uno came back with an innovative neckbreaker for a near fall. He went for a piledriver, but Greene countered into a jackknife cover for two, followed by a superkick. Greene went up to the top, but Uno cut him off with a right hand and went for a superplex, but Greene fought out of it. Greene went for another twisting crossbody, but Uno ducked and hit Something Evil to get the win.

Final Thoughts:

Clocking in at 25 minutes, this was a very brisk episode of Dark. They ran down Rampage and Dynamite cards sans any mention of the newly announced Buy In show for Rampage. There wasn’t much to this show, but that’s fine since Friday is going to rock.
