AEW dark match & off-air notes from Knoxville: Crazzy Steve debuts

Here are some notes from Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite taping in Knoxville, Tennessee:
Crazzy Steve (Crazy Steve) debuted in a dark match
Former TNA wrestler Crazzy Steve (spelled “Crazy” on his entrance graphic) wrestled a pre-Dynamite dark match, getting pinned by Serpentico. He got a good reaction and also looked good as well.
After Dynamite went off the air:
Jay White extended his hand and introduced himself to Cope, saying, “We’ve never met. I’m Switchblade Jay White.” Cope said, “It may not look like it right now, but I’m the baddest motherf*cker in this place.”
“I don’t doubt that,” White responded, “To take down The Death Riders, we’re gonna need the baddest motherf*ckers in this place!” before he left.
Cope then told the crowd, “Knoxville, the last time I was here, I faced AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio. Tonight, I faced PAC and hot damn, it was hard, but I’m still standing. No matter what The Death Riders do, I’m always going to get back up.”
He promised next time he comes back he’ll be the AEW World Champion.
Tony Khan addresses the crowd:
After Cope went backstage, Tony Khan came out and said coming to Knoxville was a dream come true. He asked if anyone remembers Smoky Mountain Wrestling. “When I was a kid, that (Smoky Mountain Wrestling) was my absolute favorite wrestling to watch.” He promised it won’t be the last time.
