AEW Dark Elevation results: Top Flight vs. The Factory, LuFisto debuts

It’s Monday and you know what that means: a six-match AEW Dark: Elevation taped last Wednesday at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight and Mark Henry were on the call tonight.
Frankie Kazarian defeated Teddy Goodz
Kazarian dominated, winning once again by submission with the chicken wing crossface for his seventh straight victory.
Diamante defeated Ashley D’Amboise
On last week’s Elevation, Diamante and D’Amboise were teamed up and lost to Anna Jay and Ruby Soho. Diamante blamed D’Amboise for the loss and attacked her after the match which is how we got here.
D’Amboise started strong and attacked just after the bell rang, but Diamante stopped her hot start, dominating the rest of the way. Using several German suplexes and a modified armbreaker, she picked up the win to improve to 39-21 overall.
Dark Order (Alan Angels, Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Stu Grayson & 10) defeated Chaos Project & The Gunn Club
On this week’s Paul Wight investigation of Luther’s past, he discovered that Luther is a descendent of Danish royalty. We at the Wrestling Observer were not able to verify that information.
Dark Order’s experience as a unit gave them an early advantage while Chaos Project and Gunn Clubb were trying to figure things out. Thanks to some shenanigans, “Ass Project” were able to control the tempo of the match and isolate Reynolds for a while which built to a vintage John Silver hot tag. Silver, Reynolds and Ten used an assisted high back drop on Serpentico to get the win.
Anna Jay, Skye Blue & Ruby Soho defeated Emi Sakura, LuFisto & The Bunny
This was the AEW debut for LuFisto. The experience of the GCW Indie Hall of Famer and Sakura gave their trio an early advantage and helped them isolate Soho from Jay and Skye. Jay got a great hot tag, focusing on kicks to Bunny that helped the babyfaces get back on track. Soho hit No Future on LuFisto to get them the victory.
Penta Oscuro (w/ Alex Abrahantes) defeated Jora Johl
Johl prevented Penta from doing his Zero Miedo gesture and the crowd had none of it, booing the Andrade Family Office member big time. Penta used his armbreaker to get the win, improving his overall record to 61-30.
Top Flight defeated The Factory’s Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo (w/ QT Marshall)
Before the bell rang, Marshall cut a promo and made Top Flight an offer to train for half price at the Nightmare Factory. The offer was rejected.
Top Flight tried to topple the tower of a man that is Comoroto with their speed, but that was not enough. Solo and Comoroto isolated Dante Martin for a while, building slowly to a hot tag for Darius Martin. Top Flight got a near fall on Solo, but Comoroto came in just in time to intervene.
Darius threw a dropkick to Solo while his opponent was on the turnbuckles that was enough to finish things off for the win. Top Flight’s tag team record is now 9-5.
