AEW Dark coming to YouTube, will be hosted by Tony Schiavone

An AEW dark match show is set to debut this coming Tuesday.

On Twitter today, Cody Rhodes announced that “AEW Dark” will premiere on the promotion’s YouTube channel on Tuesday (October 8). The show will be hosted by Tony Schiavone and will feature “the matches you didn’t see on Dynamite.”

Four dark matches took place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. as part of the Dynamite premiere. One of the matches was before Dynamite went on the air, while three of them took place after the episode.

The matches were:

  • CIMA vs. Darby Allin
  • The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix), Angelico & Jack Evans vs. Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) & Best Friends (Trent Barreta & Chuck Taylor)
  • Britt Baker & Allie vs. Bea Priestley & Penelope Ford
  • SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) vs. Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt)

Week two of Dynamite is taking place at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday (October 9). Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs. Hangman Page & Dustin Rhodes, Jon Moxley vs. Shawn Spears, and The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Private Party in an AEW Tag Team title tournament first-round match have been announced for the episode.
