AEW Collision ratings up for Grand Slam episode

Saturday night’s AEW Collision, a continuation of Wednesday’s annual Grand Slam special, averaged 435,000 viewers on TNT. That’s up 25.4 percent from the previous week and is the best audience for Collision since August 24. It’s the third-highest viewership the show has done since May 18.
Collision drew a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 8.3 percent from last week. That ties the best rating the show has done in this category since July 20.
As usual during this time of year, Collision did go head-to-head with a slate of college football games across various cable and broadcast network channels, although — for the second week in a row — did not have UFC competition as their show aired earlier in the day from France.
Compared to the same week in 2023, when Collision went head-to-head with the NXT No Mercy PLE, the show’s overall viewership was up 33 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 62.5 percent. This is the first time that Collision has ever had a year-over-year increase in either category.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for Collision, as well as the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was up 30.9 percent in viewers and up 18.2 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
