AEW Collision ratings up despite Trump news coverage

Saturday night’s AEW Collision episode averaged 362,000 viewers on TNT, up 18.3 percent from the previous week (which was head-to-head with WWE Money in the Bank). It’s the second-lowest audience total for the show since January 27, when Collision went against WWE’s Royal Rumble.
In the 18-49 demo, Collision drew a 0.14 rating. That’s up 75 percent from last week but was only 24th for the day on cable due to news coverage of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
This was tied for the best rating Collision has done in 18-49 since May 25.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Collision’s overall viewership was down 37.5 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 30 percent. That Collision episode last year featured the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation tournament finals.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for Collision, as well as the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was down 15.6 percent in overall viewers but up 7.7 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
