AEW Collision ratings up despite strong college football competition

Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision averaged 476,000 viewers on TNT, up 38 percent from the previous week’s series-low. This is tied for the fourth-lowest audience total the show has done since debuting in June.
Collision finished 14th on the cable charts with a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 36.4 percent from last week and is also the fourth-lowest rating the show has done. The three lowest ratings all happened on Saturdays where there was also a WWE pay-per-view.
The cable charts were dominated by college football. Eleven of the top 12 shows were either games or football-related programming. The only exception was the women’s US Open final, which finished third with a 0.72 rating. All five broadcast networks were also airing college football, although none of those games did as well as the near eight million viewers that ESPN drew for its Alabama vs. Texas game on cable.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Collision, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This week’s show was down 9.2 percent in overall viewers and down 11.8 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
