AEW Collision ratings drop against WWE Royal Rumble

Saturday’s AEW Collision averaged 300,000 viewers on TNT, down 32 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest audience total the show has ever done on a Saturday night, beating only the November 17 episode that was moved to Friday night due to Full Gear airing in Collision’s regular time slot that week.
Collision drew a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 50 percent from last week and is the lowest rating the show has ever done, regardless of time slot. It’s also the lowest rating AEW has ever done for a first-run wrestling program.
The record-low rating is because Collision went head-to-head with the WWE Royal Rumble on Saturday night. It also aired at the same time as a Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors NBA game that averaged 2.8 million viewers and drew a 0.69 rating in 18-49 in the fast nationals.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 ratings for Collision, as well as the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was down 26.4 percent in overall viewers and down 50 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
